Do you suffer from persistent neck pain?

Neck pain is particularly common as there are so many causative factors:

Trauma, such as a motor vehicle accident

Poor posture

Poor ergonomics in the workplace

Degenerative diseases

Chronic muscle strain

Abnormalities in the joints or muscles

But there is good news regarding persistent neck pain.

New research reveals that massage can relieve neck pain (whether it is from an accident, sitting at the computer for many hours, or poor sleeping positions). If performed by a professional therapist for the correct length of time (6o minutes is better than 30 minutes and a treatment plan is suggested from your remedial massage therapist) you will achieve the best results.

The outcomes of the trial showed that a substantial amount of massage was required to receive significant benefits. One-hour sessions, two or three times a week gave the best results.

But…. Don’t forget to be careful when you choose a clinic, as not all massages are the same. It is recommended that cervical massage should only be given by a trained professional and not a friend or family member. If massage is performed incorrectly, it can cause muscle spasms or irritate nerves in the area, resulting in neck pain issues. We are here to help you and your neck get back on track!
