Podiatry is the profession that deals with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the foot, ankle and leg.
Our podiatrists are University trained professionals who have undergone extensive study and training and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
No other profession is able to assess, design and manufacture foot orthotics as accurately and effectively as Podiatry. Using our extensive knowledge of foot function and anatomy we use state of the art 3D scanner and computer software to prescribe multi-dimensional devices. These devices are designed to correct structural abnormalities and properly support joints with the right materials for a comfortable fit.
Our Podiatrists are also trained in the management of children/ teenagers foot concerns. As foot and ankle experts, podiatrists are able to assess children’s developing feet and give advice on appropriate footwear. The foot reaches skeletal maturity around the age of 6 years and this is usually the best time for a thorough check up and intervention if necessary.
