Saleena is the Director and founder of Mount Lawley Physiotherapy and Podiatry. She divides her time between treating and managing the clinic.
Saleena has a keen interest in musculoskeletal sporting injuries and has been a Principle Physiotherapist for several football teams. Saleena treats many athletes with her goal to optimise every client’s health and physical performance. She has represented Australia in Mixed Martial Arts which sparked her interest in high level performance. She also has an interest in acute injury management, woman’s health and exercise program prescription. Saleena has established herself as a hard-working, dedicated and busy practitioner.
She spends her spare time enjoying family time with her husband (Sam), son (Tate) and labrador (Nala). She stays active with CrossFit classes although undoes her good work with her love of ALL food.

Sandro was the principle founder of Bounce Physiotherapy and has been a private clinician for 30 years. He has been heavily involved within professional entities and local communities. Sandro has served as the Private Practice Chairman of the WA Branch and National Chair for 4 years. He was elected as the national delegate for the International Private Practitioners Association in Vancouver, Canada. He is currently a Board Member with Black Swan Health. Sandro has also served on school and footy committees.
Sandro’s passions lie with complex musculoskeletal cases, youth athletic development/rehabilitation and keeping older clients on their feet. He is a strong advocate for a conservative approach to conditions that may require surgery including ACL & knee arthritis clients.
Sandro has worked with multiple sporting teams including Perth Glory , Joondalup Wolves SBL, WAFL Aussie Rules and NPL soccer teams, both male and female squads. He is passionate on passing the baton to the younger generation of physios, utilising his years of experience in different realms of healthcare.
Sandro likes to enjoy quality time with his wife Penny and his teenage boys. He occasionally plays a bad game of golf, plays the guitar or bass and playing a competitive game of squash with his boys.
Alex is an enthusiastic and keen physiotherapist having completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Alex has worked as Head Sports Trainer for Carlisle Football club and with the Claremont Tigers WAFL team. He love musculoskeletal systems and sports, and is passionate about rehabilitating patients and bringing them back to their best quality of life.
Alex has played tennis, basketball, netball, rowing, sailing and currently enjoys rock-climbing. He has had multiple knee and shoulder injuries as a result, inspiring him to love treating these injuries.
Outside of work Alex loves to SCUBA dive, marine biology and animals, especially his two Burmese cats Albus and Remus.
Kayla completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the
University of Notre Dame. Kayla is currently working as the head
physiotherapist for the Subiaco AFC women’s NPL team and has developed a
particular interest in treating sporting injuries due to her own competitive
background in various sports, particularly football and Futsal. Kayla is very
passionate about helping clients improve their function and achieving their
rehabilitation goals, in both sport and everyday activities, to return to a
happy, pain free, post injury lifestyle.
Kayla has represented both her state and country in Football
and Futsal respectively, which has driven her interest in optimising
performance.
Outside of work, Kayla loves being active playing Futsal and
Football, going to the gym, running, cooking, travelling and spending time with
friends and family.
Rujuta completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the University of Western Australia. Before studying Podiatry, she completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Medical Science also from UWA.
Rujuta has a keen interest in diabetic foot care, musculoskeletal injuries, fungal nail infections and ingrown nail care. She will be able to provide various types of treatments including orthotic therapy, taping and stretching programmes. Rujuta is passionate about creating customised treatment plans for each individual to help work towards their goal.
Outside of work, Rujuta loves playing badminton, travel and watching plenty of reality TV shows!
Catherine completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the University of Western Australia. During her studies and placements, she excelled and was awarded the degree with distinction. Catherine has a keen interest in research, diabetes education and chronic injury management. She can provide treatment and advice for fungal and ingrown nails, as well as performing podiatry related dry-needling, on the spot and custom orthotic therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, strapping and stretching therapies. Catherine cares for all her patients and aims to build comprehensive short and long-term treatment plans to optimise patient function and reduce pain.
Catherine also has a passion for education and continually acquiring new skills and building treatment options for her patients. She uses her position as Associate Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, to really keep up to date with current evidence based treatment practices in Podiatry.
When Catherine is not studying or working, she loves to run, travel and eat good food!
Kaitlyn graduated with distinction from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Before studying podiatry, she completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in Anatomy and Human Biology.
Kaitlyn has a strong passion for biomechanics, sports-related injuries, general podiatry, and diabetic foot assessments. She will be able to provide various treatments including, skin and nail care, stretching and strengthening programs, and orthotic therapy. As someone who loves being active, Kaitlyn is determined to help people get back to the activities they love with individualised and evidence-based treatments.
When Kaitlyn is not at work, she enjoys running, boxing and relaxing (or playing Spikeball) at the beach!
Minus is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and fitness personal trainer, who has the ability to understand the needs of every client.
She is skilled in various massage treatments including remedial, sports, myofascial, mobilisation, deep tissue, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques (MET) and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).
With a background in personal training Minus is able to provide simple exercises for clients to continually improve at home.
Minus believes “Movement is the the best medicine and the human body has more capacity than we realise, if we are committed to improving”.
Aleisha is a qualified Remedial Massage
Therapist, who is very passionate about health and well-being with previous
experience working in aged care, assisting with vulnerable fragile individuals
where she grew compassion and patience through her time there.
Aleisha recently completed her Diploma of
Remedial Massage at South Metro Tafe in 2022, which has created a passion for
working with individuals who are suffering from discomfort and/or pain to help
regain mobility and get back into the things they love doing.
Aleisha loves helping manage migraines and
chronic pain, her modalities are Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and
Pregnancy Massage.
In Aleisha’s spare time she loves to garden
and spend time with her family and animals.
Miriam is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist at Mount Lawley Physiotherapy and Podiatry and has several
years of experience working alongside Physiotherapists and other healthcare
professionals. She aims to provide the best treatment for her clients, meeting
their specific needs by using a range of different techniques from Remedial,
Myofascial Cupping, Sports, Deep Tissue and Relaxation Massage.
She also has
training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Pregnancy Message (certificate of
Pregnancy Massage Australia). She has a particular interest in plantar
fasciitis, chronic neck pain and pregnancy pain.
Kimberly is the new Practice Manager at Mount Lawley Physiotherapy and Podiatry.
She is a mum of two daughters and one fury child! Kimberly is a photographer and has previous experience with Tourism and Aged Care.
Kimberly runs a small photography business, loves coffee and being by the ocean. In her spare time she can be found camping and travelling around the country.
Originally she is from a small costal fishing town in NSW, but is now looking to make
WA her home.
Rochelle is one of our Receptionists at Mount Lawley Physio and Podiatry
She is completing her final year in a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Human Resources at Edith Cowan University.
In her spare time she loves spending time with friends and family, and has a passion for drawing and interior design.
Grace is one of our receptionists at Mount Lawley Physio and Podiatry.
Grace spends majority of her time listening to music, shopping and going to the gym.
She is obsessed with iced matcha and loves all animals especially her little chihuahua Poppy.
Hannah is one of the receptionists, Mount Lawley Physiotherapy and Podiatry.
Hannah is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychology at Curtin University. Hannah spends her time away from work and study at the beach with her fluffy companion and playing netball.
Sam is one of the Directors of the family run business, Mount Lawley Physiotherapy and Podiatry.
Any handy things that need to be done around the clinic, you will find him working hard on.
