The Heat is on

The mercury has hit 42 degrees the last 2 days in Perth and it’s forecast to stay that way for the rest of the week. While out exercising make sure you drink enough water and cover your skin from the sun, or better yet, head to the beach or pool for your daily workout and kill two birds with one stone.

The Gatorade Sports Science Institute has found that in conditions of 85 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity, the average runner will lose 2 to 4 pounds of sweat an hour, so be smart and drink up before, during, and after exercising.
